It is our fourth day and I've almost survived the weekend! Only three bands left!!! We kicked it off this morning with, They Might Be Giants. Then we had, Everest, Medeski Martin and Wood, Regina Spektor, Ingrid Michaelson, and Phoenix. Calexico is performing right now and coming in next for an interview. Then we will have, John Butler Trio and Martin Sexton. It has been another great adventure!

Saturday at Bonnaroo 2010!!!

We have two days left of Backstage craziness. Avett Brothers and Nortec Collective have already been here and a band called, Truth & Salvage, is performing right now. They have some amazing harmonies! I haven't heard of them yet but that isn't the first time I have discovered a band here!

We are pretty sure that when John Prine comes over this afternoon, Old Crow Medicine Show, will be backing him! We are also getting, Mumford and Sons! They popped in before dropping off their gear and heading over to the Lunar stage to watch the Fifa World Cup! The crowd over there is going to be insane!

We also have the Dead Weather popping by the studio for a quick interview!!!

Brandi Carlile, Caitlin Rose, and Dave Rawlings Machine will be popping by as well!

Wish me luck! I'll post the interviews here when possible.

Here are the interviews from Saturday:

The 2010 Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival!

Your good friend Lt. Dan is heading down to Bonnaroo in the morning. I'll be slaving away backstage, recording and editing interviews with dozens of artists between Thursday and Sunday. I'll do my best to post as many as I can here for your listening pleasure. I don't think I am allowed to post the schedule here but I can promise you it will be amazing! Full of up and coming artists, well established acts, and a few musical icons. It will be fun to share it with you and I hope you'll leave me a comment or two. You can also follow along by finding my podcast in the itunes store. Just search Lt. Dan Buckley and you'll be sure to find me.

Here is an aerial photo of the Bonnaroo Music and arts festival. Someday I would love to take my own photo like this!!!

Here is a photo of the backstage studio, surrounded by hay for soundproofing!
